Rooms and Suites

Every unit here is a suite, and the four published categories are simple.

Junior Suites (430 sq ft)

Available in Pool View and Tropical & Garden View, these hold a maximum of two adults on a king bed. At 430 square feet with a private terrace or balcony, they are considerably larger than a standard room at any of Curaçao’s other all-inclusives. Furnishings are individually chosen rather than cookie-cutter, and each suite is soundproofed — a detail that matters more than it sounds on a small property with a central pool.

Standard in every suite: stocked minibar refreshed daily, smart TV, air conditioning, Le Labo bath products and daily wine service.

Master Suites (753 sq ft)

Also split between Pool View and Tropical View, the master suites are nearly double the size and take up to three guests — either three adults, or two adults and one child. They come with a separate bedroom, which is what makes them work for a longer stay, and either one king or two queen beds.

For two people, a Junior Suite Pool View is the sensible buy; the tropical and garden views look into greenery rather than anything remarkable, and the price gap is small enough to be worth closing. Spend the money you save on a Master Suite only if you want the separate bedroom, or if you are the couple who genuinely uses a sitting room.

Two caveats from recent guests. First, the 2021 refresh is now five years old and reviewers flag tired mattresses and small maintenance issues. Second, if you are moved between rooms at check-in — which has happened to more than one reviewer — push back and ask to see the replacement first.

Food and Dining

Zoëtry publishes three restaurants and four bars. Be aware that the official inclusion description elsewhere on Hyatt’s own materials refers to “two restaurants” and “three bars,” and 2025 reviewers have reported turning up to find only one restaurant serving. That discrepancy is the single most important thing to verify before you book.

The restaurants

• Bloom — the main restaurant and the heart of the operation. International cooking with a Curaçaoan accent and an open kitchen, serving breakfast through dinner. When guests praise the food here, they are almost always talking about Bloom.
• Botanica — the poolside grill, handling casual lunch and grilled specialties.
• Battellino — listed as a Mediterranean, seaside-facing venue. Availability appears to vary, so confirm it is operating for your dates.

There is also 24-hour in-suite dining, which on a property this small is genuinely useful rather than a token inclusion, and daily afternoon tea.

Bars and drinks

Four: Blu at the pool, Flora in the lobby, Palms for cocktails and Cork & Cordials for wine. Premium liquors and wines are included. The caveat, again, comes from recent reviews — several guests reported top-shelf pours listed but unavailable, and basics such as limes, creamer and coffee running out. At its best, Bloom is a legitimately good restaurant and the a-la-carte, no-buffet-dominance approach suits a 72-suite property. At its worst, guests describe long waits, servers stretched too thin to check back, and requests for simple items going unfulfilled. The kitchen is not the problem here — the floor is.

Beach and Pools

The beach

Say it plainly: Zoëtry Curaçao is not a beachfront resort. Hyatt’s own copy says an exclusive beach area is “just minutes away.” In practice, guests use the adjacent Dreams Curaçao’s Il Mare adults-only beachfront section, which has its own infinity pool and poolside bar, reached on foot or by shuttle on request.

This works better than it sounds — Il Mare is a good stretch, the shuttle is willing, and Piscadera Bay’s water is calm and clear. But if your image of your holiday involves stepping off a terrace onto sand, this property will not deliver it and you should book elsewhere.

Pools

The on-site pool is a single main pool with a hot tub, framed by the suite blocks and gardens. It is quiet and adult in feel, and on a 72-suite property you will never fight for a lounger. Multiple 2025 reviews criticized pool maintenance — cloudy water and a film at the waterline — which is the kind of thing that should be trivially fixable and reflects poorly when it is not. Between the on-site pool and Il Mare’s infinity pool, you have two very different swimming options, which is more range than the resort’s footprint suggests.

Activities and Entertainment

Daytime

This is a wellness-and-quiet property, not an activities resort. There is no water park, no kids’ club, no animation team working the pool deck. Included: use of the fitness facilities, the pool, beach access at Il Mare, and Zoëtry’s “endless experiences” enrichment programming, which leans toward local culture and heritage — Curaçaoan cooking, Blue Curaçao tastings, island history.

The real activity program here is the island itself. You are ten minutes from the airport road and fifteen from Willemstad, so a rental car turns this into a genuinely good base: Playa Kenepa and Playa Porto Mari in the west, Shete Boka on the north coast, the Hato Caves and the Handelskade in between. Curaçao rewards the guests who leave the resort more than almost any Caribbean island.

Evening

Low-key. A cocktail at Palms, wine at Cork & Cordials, dinner at Bloom, bed. There is no nightly show and no attempt at one. Willemstad’s Pietermaai district, fifteen minutes away, is where you go for actual nightlife.

Kids’ club
