It is an independent editorial site: no resort, hotel chain or booking platform pays for placement, ranking or a favourable review. Affiliate links never change what we recommend: we frequently rank resorts that pay us nothing above resorts that could, and every review carries a cons section written from recent guest experience. Prices, rates and what's included

Every price on this site — "from" rates, seasonal ranges, package supplements, the figures in our Price Index and on the deals page — is a published starting rate at the time we last checked, for two adults sharing a standard room in low-to-shoulder season, in US dollars unless stated. All-inclusive rates change constantly with season, availability, room category and how far ahead you book. Likewise, what a resort's all-inclusive package covers (premium spirits, à-la-carte limits, transfers, Wi-Fi, activities) changes without notice, and several resorts sell all-inclusive only as an optional package — we say so wherever we know it. Always confirm the current rate and exactly what is included with the resort or booking platform before you pay. We are not a travel agent and we do not sell travel.

Accuracy and the limits of a review

Our reviews and guides are researched from resorts' own published information, brand and operator listings, and large volumes of recent guest reviews, and are fact-checked against those sources on a rolling schedule (see the "updated" date on each page). We work hard to be right, but resorts renovate, rebrand, close for the season, change management and change policies — sometimes between our check and your trip. Star ratings are the resort's official or operator-assigned classification; the /10 score is our editorial opinion. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a resort's condition, service or availability on your dates.
