Studios. The Premium Studio Suite is the entry point: a kitchen with range, fridge and microwave, a full bathroom, a loveseat and a small patio. The Premier Queen Studio adds a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, sleeping three. These are the value plays for couples, and honestly the least interesting units on the property — you’re paying West Bay prices for a room that isn’t much bigger than a standard hotel room elsewhere.

One-bedrooms are where it gets good. Around 800 square feet in Garden View and Pool View configurations, or about 850 square feet Beachfront, with a king or queen plus a sleeper sofa — three adults, or two adults and two children. The Pool View units overlook the 300-foot infinity pool, and that view is a genuine amenity rather than a consolation prize.

Two-bedrooms run about 1,000 square feet with two queen bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, sleeping five, in Garden, Pool and Beachfront outlooks. Three-bedrooms are the headline: the Pool View and Beachfront versions are roughly 2,500 square feet with three king beds and a sleeper sofa, sleeping seven, with panoramic pool or Caribbean Sea views. The Garden View three-bedroom uses a two-bedroom-plus-loft layout and sleeps seven.

The math on those larger units is the strongest argument for this resort. A 2,500-square-foot beachfront three-bedroom on the best beach in Honduras, split three ways, undercuts three all-inclusive rooms almost anywhere in the Caribbean — and you get a kitchen, a living room and a real base rather than three separate boxes.

Our pick: a Beachfront one-bedroom for a couple, a Pool View two-bedroom for a family. Beachfront is a genuine upgrade here because the property is close enough to the sand that the view actually delivers.

Food and Dining

This is where Infinity Bay is thinnest, and where the all-inclusive question really bites.

La Palapa Beach Bar and Grill is the signature venue — casual beachfront grill dining with Caribbean flavors and international standards, and it’s exactly what a beach restaurant should be: burgers, grilled fish, ceviche, cold beer, feet near the sand. It’s the venue you’ll use most.

The International Buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a globally-inspired spread and panoramic Caribbean views — but note the resort’s own phrasing: it operates “when offered.” That’s not a full-time three-meal operation you can count on the way you would at a true all-inclusive. That’s the whole on-site program. Two venues, one of them intermittent. At a true all-inclusive that would be a serious criticism; here it’s arguably beside the point, because West Bay’s real dining scene is a five-minute walk away and your unit has a kitchen. Beach and Pools

West Bay Beach is the reason this side of Roatan exists. Long, wide, powder-white, with calm shallow water and — critically — the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef running close enough to shore that you can swim out with a mask and be over healthy coral in a few minutes. Booking.com lists the resort as beachfront, roughly 65 feet from the sand, with coral reef directly in front of the property. For snorkelers who don’t want to be on a boat schedule, this is the best all-inclusive-adjacent location on the island. Turquoise Bay, for all its virtues, cannot offer that.

The honest counterweight is cruise days. Roatan receives large cruise ships, and West Bay is where those passengers go. Between roughly 10am and 3pm on ship days the beach transforms — vendors, water taxis, crowded snorkel spots, busy beach bars. It’s not ruinous, and it’s part of the island’s economy, but if you want an empty beach, know that this isn’t one. Mornings before 9am and evenings after 4pm on West Bay are spectacular and largely yours.

The pool is Infinity Bay’s genuine signature and the best pool on Roatan: a 300-foot infinity pool with three waterfalls, a jacuzzi and a bridge, running alongside the beach. It’s outdoors and open year-round, with towel service and poolside dining. Big enough to swim laps in, shallow enough in sections for kids, dramatic enough to be the reason people book. Infinity Bay’s approach is to be a base rather than a bubble, and that’s the right way to read it.

Included in the base rate are the pool, the beach, Wi-Fi, the airport shuttle, breakfast, concierge service, and access to the Roatan Athletic Club — a genuinely useful inclusion if you exercise, since it’s a proper facility rather than a token treadmill closet.

Off-property, on foot: West Bay’s dive shops, snorkel rentals, restaurants, bars and shops are within a short walk, which is the practical advantage that no other resort on this list matches. You can book a two-tank dive with an independent operator, walk to dinner, and never take a taxi. Gumbalimba Park, the sloth and monkey encounters, and the West End nightlife are a short water-taxi or road-taxi hop away.

What’s not here: there’s no published dive center of the resort’s own, no kids’ club program, no nightly entertainment schedule and no animation team. This is a condo resort, not an entertainment resort.
