Our picks in Frigate Bay & Southeast Peninsula

Best overall
Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour · 9/10 · from $700

Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour is the finest hotel in St. Kitts & Nevis and, importantly, is not all-inclusive — there is no meal plan, no drinks package, nothing bundled beyond the room. It is a 126-key Park Hyatt on Banana Bay with three signature restaurants, a 37,000 sq ft spa and rooftop plunge pools, and it charges accordingly. Budget $10,000-16,000 for a week for two once you have eaten, and go anyway if this is the trip that has to be special.

  • + The Caribbean's first and still most complete Park Hyatt — 126 keys on Banana Bay, opened November 2017
  • NOT all-inclusive in any form — every meal, drink and treatment is charged, and Park Hyatt pricing is Park Hyatt pricing
Best value
St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort, Casino & Spa · 7.6/10 · from $220

The St. Kitts Marriott is the closest thing this island has to a conventional all-inclusive resort, and it gets there only by selling you an optional all-inclusive package on top of a normal room rate. Take the package and it works: seven eating and drinking outlets, three pools, a big spa, a casino and Frigate Bay Beach at the bottom of the lawn. Skip it and you are in an aging 2003-era Marriott with Caribbean restaurant prices. Go in knowing which one you are buying.

  • + The only mainstream, big-brand resort on St. Kitts that will sell you an all-inclusive rate at all — an optional add-on, but a real one
  • It is NOT a true all-inclusive — the default rate is room-only, and the AI package is an extra roughly $130-180 per person per night
